Ciaran Byrne, Board Chairperson
Fingal County Council, Chair of Planning & Development SPC
Ciaran is the current Chair of the Board since June 2004 and is also the Chair of the Planning and Development SPC. Ciaran is a Labour Councillor for the Balbriggan Electoral Area.

Balbriggan Town Council
Councillor May McKeon, is a member of the Board since its inaugural meeting in 2000. May is also a Peace Commissioner, an elected member of both Balbriggan Town Council and Fingal County Council. She is actively involved in various local voluntary and statutory groups and a member of the Dublin Regional Authority, the Regional Drugs Task Force and Health Service Exective Forum (Dublin North East). May is also a member of the Health Fingal Action Team.

Gerry is a Labour Councillor for the Swords Electoral Area and has served on the Board since June 2004. Gerry is a member of the Health Fingal Action Team.

Anne Devitt
Fingal County Council, Chair of Community SPC
Anne is a Fine Gael councillor and was elected for the Swords Electoral Area in 2004. She is a member of the Board since the inaugural meeting in 2000 and served as the Chairperson of the Board until June 2004.

Fingal County Council, Chair of Environment SPC
David is a Green Party Councillor for the Howth Electoral Area. David has a background in law and environmental science and works as an advisor to Environment Minister John Gormley.

County Manager, Fingal County Council
David became Manager of Fingal County Council on the 14th November 2006. Prior to his appointment as Manager, he served as Director of Services, Planning and Development Department of Fingal County Council.

Lorcan O'Toole
Teagasc
Lorcan is a member of the Board since the inaugural meeting in 2000. He has served as a Chairperson of the Environmental Working Group in the past as well as the Economic Development Committee since 2002. He is a Chief Advisory Officer and is based at the Teagasc Research and Development Centre in Kinsealy.

Elaine is a member of the Board since 2002. She is involved in the Tourism Initiative and the County Identity Initiative. She is also a member of the Board of Dublin Tourism.

Austin Wynne
Co. Dublin VEC
Austin is an Adult Education Officer with the County Dublin VEC and is based in Swords. He joined the Board in April 2008. Previous to his recent appointment as Adult Education Officer based in Swords he was the regional co-ordinator for Youthreach and Senior Traveller Training Centres in County Dublin. Austin is a member of the Social Inclusion Measures Committee.

Tom Doyle

Tom is a member of the Board since December 2007. Tom has previous experience of the work of the Board as a member of the Co-ordinated Economic Development Working Group during the drafting of the initial Board Strategy 'A Strategy for Economic, Social & Cultural Development in Fingal'.

Enterprise Ireland
Noel is a member of the Board since the inaugural meeting in 2000. Noel is a member of the Economic Development Committee. Noel is also a member of other CDBs in the Dublin area.

Gerard Phillips
An Garda Síochána
Gerard joined the Board in October 2006. He is a Chief Superintendent and is based at Santry Garda Station.

Frank Donnelly
FÁS
Frank Donnelly is Regional Director for the Dublin area and has worked with FÁS for the last 35 years. He started as a Training Instructor and has held numerous Management posts in the Training Services, Community Services and Employment Services units before holding a number of Director posts in Dublin. Frank was also previously Regional Director for the North West region (Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim). Frank is a member of a number of Boards in the Community and Enterprise areas of Dublin.

Fingal County Enterprise Board
Oisin is the CEO of the County Enterprise Board. Oisin is been a member of the Board since 2000 and is also a member of the Invest Fingal, County Brand and Minority Ethnic Employment Action Teams.

Jeanne Deegan
Fingal LEADER Partnership Co. Ltd
Jeanne is a Board member since 2001. Jeanne has responsibility for the Rural Development Programme for the Partnership. During 2008 the Rural Dublin LEADER Co. Ltd, which Jeanne was Manager of and Co-operation Fingal became a unified structure for the delivery of the Local Development Social Inclusion and the Rural Development Programmes in Fingal. Jeanne is also a member of the Invest Fingal Action Team, County Brand Action Team and the Improved Cohesion Group

Linda Curran
Blanchardstown Area Partnership
Linda is the Manager of Blanchardstown Area Partnership. She has been a member of the Board since 2002 , initially on behalf of Co-operation Fingal. She has previously acted as Chair of Fingal County Childcare Committee and the Social Inclusion Measures Committee , and is currently a member of the Social Inclusion Measures Committee and the Improved Cohesion Group.

Emer is the Manager of Fingal LEADER Partnership Co. Ltd. since October 2008. During 2008 Co-operation Fingal, which Emer was Manager of since 2004 and the Rural Dublin LEADER Co. Ltd became a unified structure for the delivery of the Local Development Social Inclusion and the Rural Development Programmes in Fingal. Emer is also a member of the Social Inclusion Measures Committee and the Improved Cohesion Group.

Gráinne Maguire
Fingal Community & Voluntary Forum
Gráinne joined the Board in January 2008 and she is a native of Balbriggan. Gráinne is involved in a wide range of local community and voluntary organisations. She has been a member of Balbriggan Dramatic Society for the last twenty years and is currently on the committees of both St Molaga’s National School and the Combined Clubs Centre. Gráinne also represents the Community & Voluntary Forum on the Fingal Joint Policing Committee.

Rory is a member of the Fingal Community & Voluntary Forum. Rory is a member of the Board since September 2007.Rory has previous experience of the work of the Board as a member of the Land Use Planning Working Group during the drafting of the initial Board Strategy 'A Strategy for Economic, Social & Cultural Development in Fingal' and was also member of the Sustainability Monitoring Committee.

Tony Lambert

Tony is a Board member since the inaugural meeting in 2000. He is Chief Executive of the Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce which was established in 1994 with just 35 members. The Chamber has now grown to represent nearly 300 businesses throughout the area. Through its co-operative and partnership approach to representing the business community, the Chamber is widely recognised as the voice of business in the Fingal Region.

Colm O'Maolmhuire
Greater Blanchardstown Chamber of Commerce.
Colm is a member of the Board since April 2008. He is currently the Chairperson of the Blanchardstown Area Partnership and the Blanchardstown Citizens Information Centre. Colm is a native of Blanchardstown and runs his own business, providing management training and support services to entrepeneurs.

Tom Simpson
Dublin Trades Council
Tom is a Board member since 2002. He also serves on the Economic Development Committee. Tom was a Dublin City Council candidate for the Green Party in 2004 and works locally for FÁS at the Finglas Training Centre.

Michelle Butler
Fingal County Childcare Committee
Michelle is the Manager of the County Childcare Committee and joined the Board in February 2005. As the Manager of FCCC Michelle's duties include the management and delivery of services and the planning of a co-ordinated approach to the development and implementation of the Fingal County Childcare Strategy in consultation with the Board of the County Childcare Committee. She is the Chairperson of the Social Inclusion Measures Committee.

Stephen Falvey
Dept. of Education & Science
Stephen joined the Board in February 2006. He is an Assistant Principal Officer and is located in the Dublin City and Fingal Regional Office of the Department. It is intended that the regional office will be based in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in the Spring of 2008.

Martin Conry
Dublin City University
Martin joined the Board in July 2008. He is the Secretary of Dublin City University. Martin joined DCU in 1991. The Secretary's Office has overall responsibility for the administrative functions of the University. Prior to joining DCU, Martin was a Secondary School Teacher and Principal of St. Kevin's College. Martin holds degrees from NUI Maynooth and Trinity College Dublin.
