Fingal Data Hub Social Media Policy
Content
The Fingal Data Hub’s Twitter account is managed by Staff of the Fingal Development Board, on behalf of the members of the Board and our partners.
If you follow us, you can expect at least two tweets per week covering some or all of the following:
• Press Releases and speeches
• Event information
• Alerts about new content on the Data Hub
• “Emergency” communications or notices of disruptions to the website if they occur
• Other info that is relevant to Fingal or to the overall purpose of publishing administrative data
Following
The Data Hub will follow other Twitter identities from recognisable individuals and groups in Fingal and also projects similar to itself..
If you follow the Fingal Data Hub, we will not automatically follow you back.
Availability
We will update and monitor our Twitter account during office hours, Monday to Friday.
Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.
@Replies and Direct Messages
The Fingal Data Hub welcomes feedback and ideas from all our followers, whether registered users or not.
The Fingal Data Hub will try to join the conversation where possible. However, will not be able to reply individually to all the messages received via Twitter.
Fingal Data Hub reserves the right to refer tweets to other Departments within Fingal County Council @fingalcoco

Re-launch of the Hub
By invitation only, the Fingal Data Hub will be re-launched on the 22nd of October 2010.
The purpose of the launch is to mark all the technical developments that have happened lately.

Live Register Data available
So long as you are a registered user you may now view the live register data on the Fingal Data Hub. This data does not include all Social Welfare payments and as such should be read with caution but can be taken as an indicator of unemployment claims.

BAP Enterprise Data
Data exists on the Hub relating to the number of businesses given start up assistance by Blanchardstown area partnership. The data is confined to the BAP coverage area south and west of the N2 covering all of Greater Blanchardstown.
